is Plex the andwer

So, say I had a working Raspberry Pi on my wifi network. And say I wanted to lie on the sofa about 8 metres away and listen to some music through headphones. I can plug the headphones into my iPhone. Is there a better solution than Plex? Maybe one that doesn’t suck me into a music subscription?

@jeremycherfas It certainly can be. If you look at ease of setup, plex is probably the better option.

There is also Emby, or Jellyfin to take into account. All so roughly the same, but in different ways.

@Streakmachine Thanks. I'll look at those, but Plex will probably be the winner for me. Still getting the Pi up and running to my satisfaction. I've borked it once today.
