@joanna @po @sham You can peruse our playlists at your convenience now. 😉 mndp.tv/playlists/2020-04-13
Looking forward to hacking those bits together. Probably search next.
@33MHz Looking awesome!
@33MHz interesting...
@33MHz Very cool stuff!
The MNDP playlist search uses Pnut API for message search, then cross-references my db. Example query: https://mndp.tv/playlist/search/?text=Mukala
I just threw in exact youtube video search! So you can grab the youtube video id and see when that exact video has been requested previously.
@33MHz Ha! That’s pretty cool.

@33MHz Dude this is AWESOME! How did you put together the reactions on the playlist entries?
@jdscolam just from scratch .. :}
@33MHz Dude, I know, but how does it determine what emoji to use and how many counts to give?
@jdscolam oh, it's its own database... So you just log into the MNDP Sidekick at the top right.
@33MHz Neat, though you could probably also plug into the +1 functionality and the chatbot++ thing :D
@jdscolam how can I get the +1 info?
@jdscolam chatbot currently doesn't have any, uh, qualifications. We'd have to define some sort of "bot, tell what song is currently playing. now, if I do X, you're going to recognize what I'm saying."
@33MHz @jdscolam it should be easy enough for partybot to keep track of the current song, question is where should it stuff/track the reactions.
@thrrgilag I can set up a trusted endpoint, but what will indicate someone likes the song?
@jdscolam
@thrrgilag (or other reactions)
@jdscolam
@33MHz here is what partybot [gitlab.dreamfall.space] checks for votes @jdscolam
@thrrgilag But we probably don't want to get rid of karma.
Maybe we require using emoji for reactions?
/@jdscolam
@33MHz sure sounds like a good way to go now that the mndp interface supports emoji @jdscolam
@33MHz maybe watch for replies/mentions of the nowplaying msg. /@jdscolam
@thrrgilag The MNDP app doesn't actually register as a reply_to when you hit "reply". Oh... you could watch for mentions of @mndp. So like "@mndp 🎉"
/@jdscolam
@thrrgilag @jdscolam actually, haha. If we do it that way, you don't need to do anything. I can do it when I process messages...
@33MHz sounds like a good way to go /@jdscolam
@33MHz Ha ha ha. :-)

// @jdscolam
@thrrgilag @jdscolam It should be taken care of, going forward. So those 6 emoji after an @mndp mention will count towards the reactions... If someone does a "-" negative in front, it should detract that, if it existed from them...
@33MHz @thrrgilag It should register replies... It's in the http request.
@jdscolam @thrrgilag I just see a {"text":"@thrrgilag maybe, now :)"} for the most recent, where I hit "Reply" and then my response.
@33MHz this is awesome! Now I can see if I requested a song on a recent MNDP (poor memory, ya know?) when thinking about my requests. The ability to replay old MNDP episodes is dope as well!! Thanks for your work on this!
@thedoctor yeah! And I did get that ability to "react" to songs during the song.
