Just finished reading ‘The Handmaid's Tale’ by Margaret Atwood. A near-future dystopian novel told from a female perspective. Should be read alongside Huxley's ‘Brave New World’ and Orwell's '1984’.

It messed me up a lot. I hope this scenario won't be real, but it could be real if we can't prevent the backlash against feminism.

And I bought The Testaments [books.apple.com] on iBooks; the sequel to The Handmaid's Tale. I’ll read this book after I finish my next reading, Permanent Record by Edward Snowden.
