@Andrew yeah we had those last year too here in the Netherlands. All hedges were destroyed and I removed and burned everything. Guess they migrated even further. I read they came to Germany first accidentally imported from Japan.

@33MHz no natural enemy for them in Europe. There are some sprays now but you have to spray every leaf and hope your neighbors do it too..
