TIL in Chicago that not only will Dick’s Sporting Goods not sell firearms (as is their choice) but will also not sell any safety gear with respect to firearms, such as hearing protection. Chicago is the quietest place on Earth, apparently.

Also, the city has recently imposed a 7 cent tag for bags. I’m sure it was sold as an environmental measure, but 7 cents isn’t enough of a penalty to reduce bags. This is a simple money grab. :)
