Xie xie ni!
During a teleconference this morning I got to use one of the two bits of Chinese that I know. A developer had joked that if I wanted to understand what she was presenting better, I would have to know Chinese. At the end of her presentation, I thanked her, “Xie xie ni.”
“Wow, that was very good!”
I didn’t have the heart to tell her I learned it from the movie Rush Hour. 😁
