There's a distinct shortage of cases/covers for the iPad I ordered a couple of days back. It's thicker than the iPad Air 2, in fact its dimensions are identical to the original iPad Air. There are a couple of retailers less than 30 minutes away by car who still stock a range of iPad Air cases for $10 or $15, I shall investigate those options.
