When you’re always running, You can’t … – Long posts

2018-12-14

When you’re always running, You can’t feel the ground. Can’t see the trees. Can’t hear the sound.

Of the people in the city, You’re calling your home. Or of the birds in the sky. You then feel alone.

Surrounded by people Surrounded by life Surrounded by noise Silence cuts as a knife.

Swimming in pavement Rowing through crowds Faces want attention It’s just far too loud. https://www.reddit.com/r/aspergers/comments/a5vw07/i_wrote_his_poem_before_i_knew_i_had_aspergers/

@papierzeit it takes all your running just to stay in one place.
@33MHz i prefer to stay in a room and not leave it. I feel the best there.
@papierzeit I prefer rooms with five or fewer people. A room with just me and my pup is the best though!

@hybotics me and my cat - perfect 💗 @33MHz
@papierzeit The more I learn about people, the better I like my pup! :)
