It’s crazy what a difference just changing my mic’s location made!

Moved my mic to a boom. It’s now both really obviously in front of the camera when I’m on video calls, but also really obviously sounds way better. Even people who can’t see it because I’m doing audio only or screensharing are commenting on how it sounds like they’re listening to a produced podcast.

(Beats the pants off micing my mechanical keyboard the way it was before.)

@33MHz It came with a little hand-height stand. So I set it in front of me. Just past my keyboard. And any time I typed, it was deafening.
