For all the ink spilled about the latest Superman movie, I was expecting something out of the preachy Greg Berlanti CW-verse. This movie is perfectly fine and fun. Lex Luthor does monologue a bit, and it was strange to see the Smallville, KS, parents portrayed as Ozark hillbillies. The sidekick superhero cameos were great.
That dog, though. I’d like to see some of the TikTok trainers take a crack at that boy. :)
