OK, Missouri, we gotta talk. Your highway driving sucks. I get it, you really need that third lane between St. Louis and Columbia, but please consider the following trips for making driving more enjoyable for everyone:

  1. If you can’t pass, don’t. Stay in the right lane.
  2. If you are in the left lane and someone is on your back bumper, change to the right lane when you can.
  3. When changing lanes, especially to pass, don’t cause anybody to slow down.
  4. When you on-ramp onto the highway, that’s an acceleration lane. You’re supposed to get on the highway without causing anyone to get over or to slow down.

We can discuss turn signals and getting over whenever someone is on the side of the road. Everybody botches those, but 1-4 were a real Missouri special the last couple of days. SMH. 😁
