Mowed my lawn for the first time with the DeWalt electric push lawn mower that I bought on sale last fall. Significantly quieter than a lot of gas mowers. Did not have the whiny hair dryer noise I’ve seen some make. The engine stepped up the power on taller grass. After 30 minutes, the two 20 volt batteries didn’t show any depletion, but they did charge for a while on the chargers. It was a good experience. I hope the performance keeps up. :)

@i70dan I'm so wary of heavy equipment running on batteries. Maybe I'll get a corded lawn mower one day. 😅
@i70dan specifically, thinking about how batteries die over time. Halving performance every x years.
@33MHz that’s a valid concern. I actually keep my mower batteries charging indoors while the mower stays out to limit their temperature change. I thought about getting a corded mower but I’m just dumb enough to run over it. :)
@33MHz that’s why I picked a mower rated at an hour to 1.5 hours when I only need it for a half hour. I’m hoping to make it last more than a year. Will be happy to report on its progress! :)
@i70dan good! Very interested. ☺️
