It’s here! Spoonful Records hooked me up with the clear red vinyl of Duran Duran’s Future Past. It also comes in clear green and opaque white varieties online.
DD has been experimenting since the 90s with sometimes strange results such as Red Carpet Massacre and Paper Gods. This album has been cooking for five years, and it shows. The music is -beautiful-. The collaborations -work-. The album has its singles, but the flow of the songs almost demands listening to the entire album in sequence. The title track might give you one of those good cries. Future Past is available on the online services, so get a preview and then get it on physical media, because DD doesn’t have the most amicable relationship with the services. :)
