PSA for men, generally: if your lady tells you she doesn’t need anything for a gift day (e.g. birthday or Mother’s Day), do not believe her. Even if she is sincere, she will burn with jealousy as everyone else gets their gifts. Get her something.

PSA for women, generally: if your man asks you what you want, don’t tell him “nothing.” He will believe you, and you will suffer. Give him options, even if you feel like he ought to know you enough to figure something out.
